Social Opportunities

Many people become involved with a church because of the opportunity to build community, find friendship, and enjoy social activities. Check out the events calendar or subscribe to our emails to find out what’s happening.

Some of the kinds of activities and groups at ESG are listed here:

Special Dinner Nights

A few times a year we welcome our church family and the neighbours in our community to enjoy a family style supper night. Whether it’s pasta and bingo or pancakes and games, it’s fun for all!

New Perspectives

Join a fun loving group of women whose focus is charitable service, spiritual growth and social interaction. We meet four or five times a year at someone’s home or out-on-the-town, plus organize special projects and church events. For  information about our next gathering, contact Deb McKenzie

Unit 12 Women

Join a group of  senior women who meet monthly  for outreach, friendship and support. On the third Thursday of the month in the lower level of the church we have a lunch and educational guest speakers. For information, contact Flo Morson.

Quilting Group

This hand quilting group  meets every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. The focus is shared interest in this creative process along with fun and fellowship. The quilts are commissioned and money is donated to the church and other charities. Join in! Contact Marnie Malcolm

Seasonal Events

Annual events such as our Fall Community BBQ, Christmas Party with Carol Singing,  Pancake Supper with the amazing race, Spaghetti Supper and Bingo, Golf Day and the Church Picnic are just some of the many ways to get your family involved!

Rummage Sales

We hold rummage sales on a Saturday in October and April. This fundraiser supports the church and our outreach partners. Over 100 volunteers spend time together during the days before the sale, and on the Saturday to sort items and transform the church for this huge event. Join the comraderie.
