advocating for a healthy planet
The Faithful Green Actions Team, is a mission within the North Toronto group of United Churches whose purpose is to provide education on environmental issues and social justice and to advocate for a healthy planet. Twice a year we publish a newsletter to share tips and resources.
This year, several of our member churches hosted a series of Zoom evenings featuring environmentally themed books or videos. We were very pleased with the turnout at these evenings and the lively discussions that each theme engendered. We are already planning another event for early in the New Year, where we hope to have a guest speaker.
