Mental Health Series: Feeling Better

ESG is holding four evening sessions  on how to use CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) to manage Depression, Anxiety, and Anger.

Mary Thomson, an ESG member and a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, will show participants tools to better handle distressing emotions and self-defeating behaviour.

Sessions held 7-9 pm in the South Studio.

Weighing out the costs and benefits of ‘catastrophizing’ (worst case scenario thinking), interrupting the ‘Vicious Cycle’ and reducing panic.


April 1: Do Nice People Get Angry?

CBT & Anger Management

How to move beyond resentment, powerlessness and damaged relationships.
